Claiming Your Love

A short story turned novella.

As funny as it sounds, Claiming Your Love was written backward. The Thanksgiving scene chapter was written as a short story, and then I wrote the beginning to tie the loose ends. After that, the story pretty much wrote itself.

The prologue was intended to be gut-wrenching for readers to experience all of Tempest’s heartbreak. The devastation of losing her first love was a staple to who she was as a woman. Because it drove every factor in her life, highlighting her pain was mandatory.

Without revealing too much, I will say the plot twist is definitely that…a twist.
