First Last & Forever
Writing two separate stories in one book came with its challenges. First Last & Forever began as
a story about Dreaux and Wisdom. Noah’s story was supposed to be a subplot that proved
Dreaux’s complexity. However, as I got to the third or fourth chapter, Noah’s story began
speaking to me louder than Dreaux’s.

Choose Me
Cherish and Desmond.
Writing a story about these two brought me so much joy. It was my first time writing a fake
marriage trope, but I believe I did it justice.
Desmond was a “playboy” that fell hard for Cherish.
Cherish was only focused on fulfilling her duties for the survival of her and her sisters.
Their engagement might’ve been fake, but their love was real.

Love’s Not Easy
For Dom and Stacia, I felt it was best to address the topic of postpartum depression. Stacia had fought that man for years; it didn’t make sense to tear them apart with external factors. Instead, I touched on a subject that many women struggle with.

Time to Love
The version that was released was not the original version. The first copy of Time to Love wouldn’t open. I cried, called Microsoft to resolve it, and even thought about not writing again. To say I was devastated would be an understatement.

Love Siren
Love Siren was another time I chose to step out of my comfort zone. It was a paranormal romance that I pulled from the stories I heard growing up.

The One That I Love
The One That I Love was a staple in my writing career.
My twelfth book was released, celebrating my twelve years as a published author.
A friends to lover story that was rooted in sacrifice. Lovely and Obi were everything for one another.

The Perfect Gift
December, aka Deci and Noel Sleigh’s story, was one of redemption.
My thought process in writing this book was, how do I connect these two characters in under fifty pages?

My Heart to keep
My Heart to Keep began as a short story that I turned into the book's prologue. After writing the initial scene, I knew I had to turn it into a book.

Once In Forever
Jackson and Nova.
I felt like I didn’t do this book justice. When I first released it, so many grammatical errors were overlooked. I was so focused on meeting a self-imposed deadline that I hadn’t even thought to read through the edits. Because of this, the story was drowned out by my mistakes.

Tormented Love
Choosing a title for Jonas and Harmony’s story was easy. Their love represented one that had been run through the mud.

Riding for Love
Riding for Love was my first Urban Romance book. I thought long and hard before writing it. If you read any of my books, you know that I don’t hold back the sap. Finding that balance between urban and romance wasn’t easy at all. Though it was well-received, staying true to my purpose meant the romance had to overpower the urban element.

Finding Freedom: Wrapped in Love’s Armour
Disclaimer: Although I am on the cover of Finding Love, it’s not about any of my personal experiences.
At just under sixty-three thousand words, it is my longest book to date. Rise and Armour’s story was one of healing, growth, and love. As with all my books, each character is given their name for specific reasons. But none as powerful as Armour and Rise.

However. Forever
I made a lot of mistakes with However. Forever, from formatting, editing, and trying to meet a deadline but I learned so much more. I took a chance on my gift, and the reward has been nothing short of amazing.

Claiming Your Love
As funny as it sounds, Claiming Your Love was written backward. The Thanksgiving scene chapter was written as a short story, and then I wrote the beginning to tie the loose ends. After that, the story pretty much wrote itself.

Feel My Love
I love this Feel My Love for so many reasons. The main one would be Afrika’s mom Goldy. She was the first character I had introduced for comedic relief in one of my books. My goal was just to make her as dramatic as possible. The readers’ response to her was exactly what I was hoping for.

Yearn for Me
With Yearn for Me, I knew how I was going to start and end it but had no clue how I would get there. So, I let the story write itself. When I felt it, I wrote, and when I didn’t, I wouldn’t. I believe that’s what makes Mac and Christela’s story so organic. There was no forcing it; it happened when it was meant to.

Feign for Me
Feign for Me is undoubtedly the most difficult book I’ve written to date. I challenged myself to finish it in ten days, and I accomplished it. Not only was it the start to my only series, it was also my first erotica.

A Love Unrefined
The flashback scenes were an intricate part of the story. It demonstrated how hard Saint fought to have Angel as his wife and the mother of his children. The trust that the two had for each other was honestly my favorite aspect of their relationship.

Something Deeper
While driving out of town to a bridal party fitting, I thought of these two characters. All I could envision was writing a feel-good love story for them. The first chapter was written out in my head before I even made it to my destination

Untainted Love
Untainted Love is and will forever be my baby. My journey of becoming a published author began with Ladi and Ace’s story. I can recall waking up one day and saying out loud that I wanted to write a book.
