Riding for Love
Honestly, it's extremely difficult to step outside of my comfort zone. With Riding for Love, I had no choice but to do so. From time to time, I like to challenge myself, and this story was definitely me doing so.
Riding for Love was my first Urban Romance book. I thought long and hard before writing it. If you read any of my books, you know that I don’t hold back the sap. Finding that balance between urban and romance wasn’t easy at all. Though it was well-received, staying true to my purpose meant the romance had to overpower the urban element.
Grym, pronounced Grim, was one of my favorite male characters to write. He literally represented death. How I would make a killer likable was probably the most challenging aspect to navigate, and Willow was the key to making it happen. She allowed Grym to be human and give love freely. The chemistry the two shared was easy to write.
Theirs were different compared to Green and Trinity. The supporting roles Green and Trinity played weaved Riding for Love together seamlessly. I can truly say that I was happy with the result. So much so that I will be writing a spin-off focusing on Green and Trinity’s story.
Even though I like to dabble in different genres from time to time, romance will always be my home.
