Love’s Not Easy

Constance’s twin sister Stacia and Dom were the perfect comedic relief that led to them having their own spin-off novelette, Love’s Not Easy.

For Dom and Stacia, I felt it was best to address the topic of postpartum depression. Stacia had fought that man for years; it didn’t make sense to tear them apart with external factors. Instead, I touched on a subject that many women struggle with.

Stacia was a strong person, so it made sense to have her pretend to be strong even when the people who loved her most saw that she was hurting. That was why Dom had to take control of the situation because Stacia would’ve never asked for help; it wasn’t in her nature.

They came together beautifully in Time to Love, but fighting for their love made their story special.

In the end, healthy love’s not easy, but it is always worth it.
