Our Desires

The title says it all. It isn’t a conventional love story. It’s one that is filled with lust. With it being an erotica, sexual pleasure is at the center. The characters in the book are fueled by their desires.

Patience isn’t searching for love but that is exactly what Khalil is presenting to her without any reservations. She’s hesitant to accept it which is expected after disappointment. However, Khalil is willing to do whatever it takes to ensure that Patience knows that he is not playing any games.

The desires that we have drive us in pretty much everything that we do. That was what I wanted Our Desires to reflect.

Our sexual desires.

Our desire for love.

Our desire for better.

Giving in to some of our desires are vital for growth and to accept the good that comes in our lives. That was the main aspect that I was trying to portray. Having desires are normal and it is okay to enjoy the pleasures that they bring.
